Oral history is an intregal part of the historical record.  CCRH actively promotes the collection and dissemination of oral histories pertinent to the history of the Columbia River Basin through a variety of programs and projects that tap the talents and expertise of CCRH staff, regional scholars, Portland State University and Washington State University graduate and undergraduate students, and Oregon Historical Society's Office of Oral History.
