Pierce Wildlife Refuge
Students were fortunate
to be able to ride a tugboat pulling two barges loaded with sawdust from
Bingen, Washington, downriver and through the locks at Bonneville Dam. It
was an exhilarating experience that gave them a new perspective on the river.
