Oral Report |
|
To Teachers: We thought it was a good
idea to give opportunities for students to share what they were learning
about their projects sites with the rest of the class. It let them report
on their progress and findings, let us ask important questions that
they needed to consider during the process, and reminded them that it
was important to keep on schedule. This is one of the descriptions we
used.

CRS Site Study
On Monday, each study group will rise to present a progress report on their site study. All group members should take a role in the presentation. Your grade for the report will be based on the information you deliver and your demeanor (voice, manner). You might think about the following:
- A clear description of your site and why it is important
- New discoveries-what have you found out that you didn't know before
- Interesting stories or history about the site
- Speculations about how the site might have been used by humans over time
- Information on geology, flora, and fauna
- How weather has affected the site over time
Feel free to bring visuals to class to help liven up your presentation-photos, maps, drawings, whatever.
Your speech should last from 3-5 minutes. Please organize your presentation before you come to class!! Be prepared to take questions from both instructors and fellow students.
