On behalf of the McNary Dam Dedication Committee, it is an honor and privilege to have extended an invitation to you to attend the Dedication Ceremony at the Dam, near Umatilla, Oregon, on Thursday, September 23, with the President of the United States, Dwight D. Eisenhower, and other distinguished guests.

President Eisenhower and his official party are planning to spend the night of September 22 in Walla Walla, Washington, preceding the Dedication. You will be most welcome in this historic city on the occasion of the President's first visit to this part of the Pacific Northwest.
