The following Web posters were developed to provide additional information for the Center for Columbia River History's "People of the Columbia River Basin" film series. The posters feature short narratives, primary documents, and bibliographies. These posters were developed by students in Portland State University's course, History and the World Wide Web. In this Public History graduate/undergraduate course students explored the various ways in which history professionals including academic historians, public historians, history teachers, and historians at cultural institutions utilize Internet technology in research, teaching, and the dissemination of historical material. These sites comprised one of the requirements of the course.

The People of the Columbia River Basin Film Series is supported in part by a grant from the Washington Commission for the Humanities, a state-wide non-profit organization supported by the National Endowment for the Humanities and local contributors. The series is also supported by CCRH's James B. Castles Endowment.
